Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2010, there were 82,004 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in Mississippi and they represented 2.76% of the total population of Mississippi in 2010.

Harrison County had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (9,982), followed by DeSoto County (8,098), and Jackson County (6,437). On the other hand, Issaquena County had the lowest number of hispanics or latinos (8), followed by Jefferson County (25), and Sharkey County (40).

When it comes to the ratio of hispanic to non-hispanic population, Scott County had the highest percentage (10.63%), followed by Adams County (7.5%), and Pontotoc County (6.19%).
