United States Net Domestic Migration Rate By State in 2022

According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2022, South Carolina had the highest net domestic migration rate per 1,000 population (15.92), followed by Idaho (14.88), and Florida (14.43). On the other hand, New York had the lowest net domestic migration rate per 1,000 population (-15.09), followed by Illinois (-11.27), and Hawaii (-10.85).
