According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2018, the net migration rate per 1,000 population for Indiana was 2.95. Hancock County had the highest net migration rate per 1,000 population (17.58) followed by Brown County (17.38), and Hamilton County (16.61). On the other hand, Union County had the lowest net migration rate per 1,000 population (-14.14), followed by Knox County (-12.19), and Jay County (-9.71).
