According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2022, the net migration rate per 1,000 population for New Mexico was 0.64. Catron County had the highest net migration rate per 1,000 population (34.12), followed by De Baca County (21.95), and Sandoval County (15.29). On the other hand, Union County had the lowest net migration rate per 1,000 population (-22.03), followed by McKinley County (-17.65), and Guadalupe County (-17.16).
