According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2017, the net migration rate per 1,000 population for Texas was 6.44. Loving County had the highest net migration rate per 1,000 population (152), followed by Hudspeth County (79.33), and Motley County (53.45). On the other hand, Concho County had the lowest net migration rate per 1,000 population (-423.12), followed by McMullen County (-55.84), and Sterling County (-48.05).
