Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2018, the 8,510,920 population of Virginia comprised of 812,901 people who identified as Hispanic (9.55%), and 7,698,019 people who identified as Non-Hispanic (90.45%).

Race: The White Alone population was the largest racial group in Virginia, with a population of 5,913,267 (69.48%). Black or African American Alone population was the second largest racial group in Virginia, with a population of 1,691,415 (19.87%). Asian Alone population was the third largest racial group in Virginia, with a population of 585,039 (6.87%).

Ethnicity: The White Alone - Non Hispanic population was the largest ethnic group in Virginia, with a population of 5,240,475 (61.57%).
