Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2011, the Net Migration Rate per 1K for the United States was 2.56. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest net migration rate (16.93), followed by North Dakota (11.09), and Florida (9.02).
On the other hand, Illinois had the lowest net migration rate (-2.61) followed by Michigan (-1.9), and Nevada (-1.83).
