Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2013, the Net Migration Rate per 1K for the United States was 2.7. Among all US states and DC, North Dakota had the highest net migration rate (22.98), followed by District of Columbia (17.02), and Florida (11.17).

On the other hand, Illinois had the lowest net migration rate (-3.12) followed by New Mexico (-2.34), and New Jersey (-2.13).
