On December 27, 2022 at approximately 0700 am, while performing antemortem inspection in the barn, I observed the following noncompliance: 1). The chute connecting the barn to the kill box had a board dislodged from a corner of the chute wall 2). The small gate inside the chute had a piece of metal that had come unattached and was hanging from the bottom of the chute The kill floor manager was present at the time of the observation. Establishment management has been notified verbally and with this notice. No regulatory action was taken due to this noncompliance not causing animals to be injured or in pain.
