HATS Category III Water and Feed Availability On 03/14/23 in the barn area of the establishment while performing the review and observation component of the humane handling slaughter task the following noncompliance was observed by Inspector REDACTED. At 0750 hours a cow was observed in the inside pen with no water available at the time of observation. The container was empty at the time of observation. An establishment employee was notified, and water was put into the container. Mr. REDACTED was immediately notified verbally. This is noncompliance with 9 CFR 313.2.

Category III Water and Feed Availability On 11/23/2022, at 0915 hours while performing the review and observation component of the Humane Handling procedure the following noncompliance was observed A swine (boar) was observed in the holding pen at the unloading ramp. The trough was turned over and had no water at the time of observation. I immediately informed an employee on the kill floor the swine had no water and needed some. I then informed Mr. REDACTED (Owner) of the noncompliance. This was noncompliant with 9CFR 313.2 (e)
