According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2007 Q1 was $884. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest average weekly wage ($1,426), followed by New York ($1,398), and Connecticut ($1,262).

On the other hand, Montana had the lowest average weekly wage ($599), followed by South Dakota ($601), and North Dakota ($614).
