According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2015 Q1 was $1,048. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest average weekly wage ($1,759), followed by New York ($1,460), and Connecticut ($1,382).

On the other hand, Mississippi had the lowest average weekly wage ($710), followed by Idaho ($736), and Montana ($749).
