According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for the United States in 2017 Q3 was $1,021. Among all US states and DC, District of Columbia had the highest average weekly wage ($1,757), followed by Massachusetts ($1,264), and New York ($1,221).

On the other hand, Mississippi had the lowest average weekly wage ($729), followed by Idaho ($780), and Arkansas ($788).
