According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Alaska was 6.8% (sa) in July, 2014. Among all Alaska counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Kusilvak (26.4%), Yukon-Koyukuk (17.3%), and Northwest Arctic (16.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Bristol Bay (2.4%), Aleutians East (3.3%), and Sitka (3.8%).
