Infant Mortality Rate (Per 1,000 Live Births) for African Countries in 1988

According to data from the World Bank, in 1988, among all African countries, South Sudan had the highest infant mortality rate per 1,000 live births in Africa (472.5), followed by Liberia (163.4), and Niger (148.7). On the other hand, Seychelles had the lowest infant mortality rate in Africa (14).
