Neonatal Mortality Rate (Per 1,000 Live Births) for African Countries in 2022

According to data from the World Bank, in 2022, South Sudan had the highest neonatal mortality rate (per 1,000 live births) in Africa (40.3), followed by Central African Republic (36.2), and Somalia (36.1). On the other hand, Libya had the lowest neonatal mortality rate in Africa in 2022 (5.6).
