Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2010, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Indiana was 1,222,435 and represented 19.62% of the total Indiana citizen population.

Among all Indiana counties, Marion had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (227.59K), followed by Lake (124.76K), and Allen (40.13K).

In terms of percentages, Marion had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (27.16%), followed by Lake (26.04%), and St. Joseph (12.29%).
