Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2010, the Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population for Illinois was 3,176,965 and represented 26.97% of the total Illinois citizen population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population (2.17M), followed by DuPage (631.72K), and Lake (454.06K).

In terms of percentages, Scott had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic White Alone (99.26%), followed by Menard (99.05%), and Jasper (98.66%).
