Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2022, the Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population for Illinois was 3,257,200 and represented 27.34% of the total Illinois citizen population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population (2.07M), followed by DuPage (589.33K), and Will (422.94K).

In terms of percentages, Hardin had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic White Alone (97.26%), followed by Wayne (97.23%), and Jasper (97.18%).
