Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2023, the Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population for Illinois was 3,242,005 and represented 27.40% of the total Illinois citizen population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population (2.04M), followed by DuPage (578.29K), and Will (416.79K).

In terms of percentages, Jasper had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic White Alone (97.50%), followed by Hardin (97.37%), and Wayne (97.12%).
