Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2010, the citizen voting-age population for Maine was 1,029,240 and represented 77.52% of the total Maine population.

Among all Maine counties, Cumberland had the highest citizen voting-age population (213.87K), followed by York (151.94K), and Penobscot (120.02K).

In terms of percentages, Hancock had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (79.96%), followed by Lincoln (79.91%), and Knox (79.42%).
