Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2024, the citizen voting-age population for Maine was 1,114,201 and represented 80.28% of the total Maine population.

Among all Maine counties, Cumberland had the highest citizen voting-age population (244.52K), followed by York (174.97K), and Penobscot (125.18K).

In terms of percentages, Piscataquis had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (83.05%), followed by Lincoln (82.66%), and Hancock (82.28%).
