Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2020, the citizen voting-age population for Maine was 1,070,610 and represented 79.85% of the total Maine population.

Among all Maine counties, Cumberland had the highest citizen voting-age population (232.96K), followed by York (164.61K), and Penobscot (122.20K).

In terms of percentages, Lincoln had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (82.23%), followed by Piscataquis (82.06%), and Franklin (81.44%).
