Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2022, the citizen voting-age population for Maine was 1,095,865 and represented 80.17% of the total Maine population.

Among all Maine counties, Cumberland had the highest citizen voting-age population (240.56K), followed by York (171.24K), and Penobscot (123.35K).

In terms of percentages, Lincoln had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (82.66%), followed by Hancock (82.22%), and Piscataquis (82.17%).
