Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2011, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Indiana was 1,234,325 and represented 19.70% of the total Indiana citizen population.

Among all Indiana counties, Marion had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (228.81K), followed by Lake (124.69K), and Allen (40.81K).

In terms of percentages, Marion had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (27.15%), followed by Lake (25.99%), and St. Joseph (12.41%).
