Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2011, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Minnesota was 1,234,325 and represented 24.36% of the total Minnesota citizen population.

Among all Minnesota counties, Hennepin had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (109.16K), followed by Ramsey (45.66K), and Dakota (14.89K).

In terms of percentages, Hennepin had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (10.30%), followed by Ramsey (9.77%), and Dakota (3.91%).
