Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2024, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Minnesota was 1,303,064 and represented 23.54% of the total Minnesota citizen population.

Among all Minnesota counties, Hennepin had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (150.49K), followed by Ramsey (58.83K), and Dakota (30.79K).

In terms of percentages, Hennepin had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (12.58%), followed by Ramsey (11.49%), and Anoka (8.28%).
