Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2020, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Minnesota was 1,290,900 and represented 23.97% of the total Minnesota citizen population.

Among all Minnesota counties, Hennepin had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (143.43K), followed by Ramsey (55.26K), and Dakota (23.64K).

In terms of percentages, Hennepin had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (12.20%), followed by Ramsey (10.84%), and Anoka (6.02%).
