Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2011, the Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population for Illinois was 3,183,505 and represented 26.93% of the total Illinois citizen population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population (2.17M), followed by DuPage (630.22K), and Lake (451.88K).

In terms of percentages, Jasper had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic White Alone (98.86%), followed by Menard (98.39%), and Cumberland (98.32%).
