Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2011, the citizen voting-age population for Alabama was 3,514,600 and represented 74.03% of the total Alabama population.

Among all Alabama counties, Jefferson had the highest citizen voting-age population (484.75K), followed by Mobile (299.10K), and Madison (241.92K).

In terms of percentages, Macon had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (79.13%), followed by Cherokee (79.07%), and Marion (77.58%).
