Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2024, the citizen voting-age population for Alabama was 3,845,696 and represented 75.60% of the total Alabama population.

Among all Alabama counties, Jefferson had the highest citizen voting-age population (495.65K), followed by Mobile (310.89K), and Madison (306.80K).

In terms of percentages, Macon had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (83.70%), followed by Coosa (82.29%), and Cherokee (80.19%).
