Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Minnesota was 1,245,335 and represented 24.41% of the total Minnesota citizen population.

Among all Minnesota counties, Hennepin had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (113.84K), followed by Ramsey (47.18K), and Dakota (16.25K).

In terms of percentages, Hennepin had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (10.62%), followed by Ramsey (10.01%), and Dakota (4.23%).
