Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population for Illinois was 3,191,405 and represented 26.91% of the total Illinois citizen population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population (2.16M), followed by DuPage (629.92K), and Will (449.67K).

In terms of percentages, Jasper had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic White Alone (98.70%), followed by Cumberland (98.54%), and Calhoun (98.30%).
