Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen voting-age population for Illinois was 2,518,805 and represented 28.54% of the total Illinois citizen voting-age population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen voting-age population (1.79M), followed by DuPage (493.56K), and Lake (344.54K).

In terms of percentages, Scott had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic White Alone (99.50%), followed by Calhoun (99.23%), and Cumberland (98.69%).
