Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the citizen voting-age population for Washington was 4,737,815 and represented 70.31% of the total Washington population.

Among all Washington counties, King had the highest citizen voting-age population (1.34M), followed by Pierce (569.15K), and Snohomish (495.42K).

In terms of percentages, Jefferson had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (84.31%), followed by Garfield (82.63%), and San Juan (81.10%).
