Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2013, the citizen voting-age population for Maine was 1,041,475 and represented 78.41% of the total Maine population.

Among all Maine counties, Cumberland had the highest citizen voting-age population (218.73K), followed by York (154.93K), and Penobscot (122.04K).

In terms of percentages, Lincoln had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (80.68%), followed by Hancock (80.46%), and Piscataquis (80.43%).
