Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2014, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Minnesota was 1,259,335 and represented 24.34% of the total Minnesota citizen population.

Among all Minnesota counties, Hennepin had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (120.58K), followed by Ramsey (49.93K), and Dakota (18.10K).

In terms of percentages, Hennepin had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (10.96%), followed by Ramsey (10.38%), and Dakota (4.65%).
