Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2014, the citizen voting-age population for Alabama was 3,600,135 and represented 74.73% of the total Alabama population.

Among all Alabama counties, Jefferson had the highest citizen voting-age population (489.89K), followed by Mobile (305.81K), and Madison (255.19K).

In terms of percentages, Macon had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (80.49%), followed by Coosa (79.50%), and Cherokee (79.38%).
