Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2015, the citizen population for Alaska was 709,045 and represented 96.68% of the total Alaska population.

Among all Alaska counties, Anchorage had the highest citizen population (286.18K), followed by Fairbanks North Star (97.50K), and Matanuska-Susitna (94.54K).

In terms of percentages, Northwest Arctic had the highest percentage of its population being citizens (99.55%), followed by Bristol Bay (99.49%), and Kusilvak (99.37%).
