Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2021, the citizen population for Alaska was 712,815 and represented 96.86% of the total Alaska population.

Among all Alaska counties, Anchorage had the highest citizen population (280.65K), followed by Matanuska-Susitna (105.53K), and Fairbanks North Star (95.10K).

In terms of percentages, Kusilvak had the highest percentage of its population being citizens (99.76%), followed by Nome (99.50%), and Yukon-Koyukuk (99.36%).
