Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2024, the citizen population for Alaska was 714,055 and represented 97.06% of the total Alaska population.

Among all Alaska counties, Anchorage had the highest citizen population (278.17K), followed by Matanuska-Susitna (111.89K), and Fairbanks North Star (93.05K).

In terms of percentages, Copper River had the highest percentage of its population being citizens (99.66%), followed by Kusilvak (99.56%), and Bethel (99.34%).
