Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2015, the citizen voting-age population for Hawaii was 1,001,730 and represented 71.23% of the total Hawaii population.

Among all Hawaii counties, Honolulu had the highest citizen voting-age population (699.24K), followed by Hawaii (139.72K), and Maui (113.27K).

In terms of percentages, Kalawao had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (94.12%), followed by Hawaii (72.97%), and Honolulu (71.05%).
