Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2016, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Indiana was 1,271,600 and represented 19.91% of the total Indiana citizen population.

Among all Indiana counties, Marion had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (247.65K), followed by Lake (118.69K), and Allen (41.05K).

In terms of percentages, Marion had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (28.35%), followed by Lake (25.00%), and St. Joseph (12.78%).
