Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2016, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Minnesota was 1,271,600 and represented 24.29% of the total Minnesota citizen population.

Among all Minnesota counties, Hennepin had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (130.31K), followed by Ramsey (51.69K), and Dakota (19.60K).

In terms of percentages, Hennepin had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (11.58%), followed by Ramsey (10.52%), and Dakota (4.96%).
