Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2016, the Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population for Illinois was 3,195,130 and represented 26.79% of the total Illinois citizen population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen population (2.13M), followed by DuPage (620.75K), and Will (443.17K).

In terms of percentages, Hamilton had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic White Alone (99.09%), followed by Jasper (97.85%), and Calhoun (97.78%).
