Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2016, the citizen voting-age population for Washington was 5,008,035 and represented 70.80% of the total Washington population.

Among all Washington counties, King had the highest citizen voting-age population (1.44M), followed by Pierce (599.79K), and Snohomish (534.20K).

In terms of percentages, Jefferson had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (84.33%), followed by San Juan (82.90%), and Wahkiakum (82.72%).
