Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2016, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for South Carolina was 945,515 and represented 26.11% of the total South Carolina citizen voting-age population.

Among all South Carolina counties, Richland had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (137.37K), followed by Charleston (79.91K), and Greenville (63.67K).

In terms of percentages, Allendale had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (72.41%), followed by Williamsburg (64.29%), and Lee (62.30%).
