Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2020, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for South Carolina was 972,205 and represented 25.25% of the total South Carolina citizen voting-age population.

Among all South Carolina counties, Richland had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (146.57K), followed by Charleston (80.93K), and Greenville (67.68K).

In terms of percentages, Allendale had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (71.35%), followed by Williamsburg (64.19%), and Lee (62.19%).
