Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2024, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for South Carolina was 989,960 and represented 24.69% of the total South Carolina citizen voting-age population.

Among all South Carolina counties, Richland had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (150.53K), followed by Charleston (73.85K), and Greenville (63.96K).

In terms of percentages, Allendale had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (68.49%), followed by Williamsburg (63.99%), and Orangeburg (60.98%).
