Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2021, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for South Carolina was 990,635 and represented 25.82% of the total South Carolina citizen voting-age population.

Among all South Carolina counties, Richland had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (146.57K), followed by Charleston (78.26K), and Greenville (67.34K).

In terms of percentages, Allendale had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (72.31%), followed by Williamsburg (64.58%), and Orangeburg (61.12%).
